SUBMISSIONS
All submissions should be made online at the Feminist Economics Manuscript Central website (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rfec). Please log onto the website. If you are a new user, you will first need to create an account. Submissions should be made via the Author Center. For questions and a user guide, please use the "Get Help Now" button at the top right of every screen. Further help is available through Manuscript Central customer support at +1 (434) 817-2040 x167.
In the interest of anonymous reviewing, the author's name, contact information, biographies, and any acknowledgments should not be included anywhere in the main document. Such information and other personal and manuscript details should be given on separate screens. In order to upload your article via Manuscript Central, you will be required to provide the following: an abstract of not more than 150 words, a biographical note (40 - 100 words) for each author, full postal and e-mail addresses, all relevant telephone and fax numbers, 3 - 6 keywords suitable for indexing and abstracting services, and 1 - 3 JEL codes.
REVISIONS
Authors submitting revised manuscripts should follow the instructions above to submit through the Manuscript Central system. However, if the first versions were submitted prior to Manuscript Central, the system will not know automatically about the previous version. In such cases, authors should check the box that the paper has not been submitted before on the system, but mention the previous version in your cover note. (If the previous version was submitted through the Manuscript Central system, authors should check the box indicating that the manuscript was submitted before.) Authors of all revised submissions should include an attachment explaining the changes in your manuscript for us to provide to the reviewers.
EDITORIAL POLICIES, LANGUAGE, AND STYLE
Articles should be written as clearly and as concisely as possible, with
the goal of broad accessibility to an audience of economists, scholars in
related fields, and feminists concerned with economic issues. All manuscripts
must conform to the journal's Editorial Policies, Conditions of Submission,
and Style Guidelines. Submissions should be in English, Spanish, French, or German, double-spaced (including all notes and references). American spelling and
punctuation should be used. Notes should be kept to a minimum and will be
reproduced as endnotes. First names of authors cited must be included in citations
and references.
Authors of articles submitted in Spanish, French, and German will need to
provide an English translation if the article is accepted for publication.
The journal cannot guarantee funding for translation but will collaborate
with authors' efforts to seek outside funding for this purpose.
